4 Stroke Engine, Bike basically takes off when started

I have a four stroke engine on my motorized bicycle. The engine and the bike rode just fine, until it was dropped.
when the bike is now started from pull start, (hence it’s a 4 stroke) the rear wheel is spinning without giving the motor any gas.
the bike is basically stuck in gear????

Sounds like you have a clutch issue. Or somehow the engine is idled too high.

I was thinking the same thing but that doesn’t seem to be the issue …
Could it be something else.

What rpm is the engine idling at? Just because the reduction box is new doesn't mean it wasn't damaged when it was dropped.
