I know what people say about boost bottles, I just want it all OK!!!!

So I plan on adding a boost Bootle with my new 2 stroke bicycle engine build because!

But this the only photo I could find of a boost with a reed valve should I tap and drill a boost bottle on BEFORE OR AFTER the reed valve??
This photo States boost after the reed, buttt wouldn't it make more sense to put the boost bottle on a transfer port as to catch fuel.... Reeds stop fuel...??

I remember a photo of a 2 stroke with a tapped boost bottle on the left transfer?? Any help or info would be cool :)

Boost bottles are a gimmick... A properly tuned carb just a little rich is going to be the way to go... I think the boost bottles came about because of factory lean carbs and people not knowing how to tune a carb... A mikuni has an idel jet and main jet and different needle jet profiles... And the oko carbs have a power jet for 2 strokes... Most run a 4 stroke kit carb for a scooter... A saw carb which I haven't tried as of yet is another option... Rjw4 needs a return and pulse line and the smaller 268 carb has no return and a pulse through the flange... For another option is a tillotson carb for a go kart...
