Need help

I haver a 4 stroke kit it has a kill switch one wire is green and the other one is black what one do I hook up to the red wire coming off the engine

It's a traditional on/off ground switch
Either wire will work it depends on which way ya want your switch to toggle
Or if it's a push button it don't matter which wire

Who knows with China, to them sometimes green is black and black is green LOL

OK ty I will try to reverse the wires

I assume ya got a push button kill switch.
