The confession of a bike junkie

Is it considered cheating if I ride my motor bike without the bicycle chain attached while I wait for one to be delivered? I feel like I am breaking some unwritten rule or something.

Its my first build and its been along list of things needed to make it work right. The absolute feeling of flying is addicting and I just cant help myself... Sigh... I guess you wouldnt understand if you didnt own a bike as cool as mine... Or the pride you feel after creating something as outlandishly cool as ****.

Idk I just had to get that off my chest.

Let me know what you think in the replys.

I did that for about 3 months till I got one from a junk bike I had laying around cause I didn't want to buy one. I just use mine in my driveway and through trails but still, it's nice to have when turning around or starting the bike. and yes I know the feeling I got it 2 years ago when I first got the bike running it was so awesome and I have that feeling every time I start the damn thing up.

This is her. Its my very first build. Ive had 4 people ask me if I could build them one but I am still trying to work the bugs out of mine. Maybe after I get mine dialed in I will.

Since you aren't using a shift kit about any cheap bicycle chain will work for the pedal side. Riding with no bicycle chain is ok for getting you home. However, most left side drives need some pedal assist to get started. As it is now you risk the danger of burning your clutch out.

Im running with a chain now and I have a tektro mira brake with ceramic pads on the front 160 rotor and the stock specialized rim brake on the back. And thanks guys, I look forward to many fine story and hints from you all.

Ride safe!
