Does anyone have any tips for me? My throttle cable is at highest throttle all the time and the motor spins up all the way if I dont kill the motor while I'm stopped. The throttle cable doesnt push the throttle back in place when its let go of.
I watched a video that said to crimp the wire inside of the little l bracket going into the throttle housing. That worked but now its coming out of the carb.
I have a two stroke 49 cc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVbcu45oP9M

So Cal
That guy's a fool to crimp that throttle linkage. Too bad you did too

Obviously your throttle cable is too slack
If you have adjusted your throttle cable linkage all the way and your cable is still slack i suggest buying a new throttle cable
Top measure for a new throttle cable You need to understand the throttle cable end length that goes into the carb The cable you have now that end is too long.

I figured it out. The throttle cable thing did work. The problem was in the carb where theres a notch on the side the plunger needs to fit into. It worked afterwards. Thanks though. Ive been riding it for the past hour or so

Correct Throttle Cable instillation always works.
You shouldn't have to crimp your linkage.
