Cranbrook Hub

I cannot get my cranbrook hub to stay tight. I do not think this is a cone type hub, but i brand new to the scene. I have searched for hours and found most 'decent' hubs have the cone.

I get it nice and snug and wheel it around my driveway just to find it loose again.

any suggestions and or upgrade tips

thank you

Good advice guys. Not just brakes either, manufacturing tolerances are poor as well. I recently tried to clamp a hub sprocket adapter to a Cranbrook wheel & the hub diameter was enough undersize that it wouldn't hold. The adapter was properly machined and had plenty of clamping force when tried on two other 1.5" hubs...a Sta-tru & a Wheel master wheel/hubs that are sold in the $60.00 range. Though some of the mass merchandizer frames are pretty solid the component parts are typically very low quality & don't typically hold up for very long when stressed with even a small amount of motorized assist. I like low price but not at the sacrifice of reasonable quality.
