Ebay sale?

I am starting to think this is not real. The type of item is out of character with what he has sold in the past and the paypal transaction shows this:
OCT23

eBay - 和生 吕COMPLETEDPayment

-$50.00

Notice it is Chinese payment. Guess we will see on Monday or Tuesday Larry

Not really an indicator of it going to a seller in China to be shipped from China. I have ordered stuff from some Chinese dealers on eBay that have a stateside shipping address. Their PayPal is in the Chinese chicken scratches.

But it does sort of negate the stolen credit card deal that I went through. Actually makes it more tempting for me, but will wait to see how this plays out.

They are selling a ton of them for sure. Mine is due on the 30th I think, but I have not gotten any shipping info from the seller. Guess by Wed. we will have a good clue if it is real or not. If not there will be a lot of upset buyers. Larry

Now it is really getting strange. The link to the auction I bought now goes to a different seller and a price of $108.99 delivered, so Same item listing with a different seller and $60.00 more. Larry

eBay's getting bad- if it looks unbelievable it probably is and get you a message soon that the "Seller is no longer registered on ebay" It's happened to me more than once- I got my money back, but I think it's "creative accounting" of some type- probably claiming a tax write off using your claim on "buyer protection" Also they seem to be waffling on smaller items more frequently- but in these busy days of rush- who can say? You can usually get your money back, but it takes waiting, and it's probably profitable once and awhile if people don't have time or lose their connectivity or something.

The ad now shows a price of $108 when I click on it- though I was seeing 50cc kits for under $100 a couple months back- usually about $94.

The original link is going to a different seller, the original post of $50 sale has been closed. This seller was in Oklahoma, the new link the seller is in New Jersey and the cost is $109 plus...

Then I feel a little better about it now. How many did they let you buy? Tuesday will be an interesting day for me. Larry

I ordered 9, even if motors aren't much good, I can restock my spare parts shelves - I'm carrying about 10 or 12 each of CDI, carb, tensioner, and got way too many throttle sets and cables and maybe 40 gas tanks, but short on mags. I order whole kits, but often just sell a replacement motor and have rest of kit left over.

3 of these is almost what I pay for one kit

As soon as I get mine (if I do) I will post some pictures of what they are. If anyone has any specific things to look for let me know. This will be real interesting. Hope someone will know just what they are. Larry

Now it is back to $50.00 and a different seller. Very strange I think. Mine is supposed to be delivered on Tuesday, so only a couple more days and we will probably know. Larry

just had a thought, maybe guy is seeing problems like I am where many customers at local college are using the $1 electric scooters instead of bothering with one of these bikes

I've got 4 pods of them parked along 6 blocks around my shop : (

The first seller was in Oklahoma, the one now is in Indiana, the chance of them both coming up with this theory is nil and none. I am still waiting for someone to get a delivery before I jump in.

Wondering if this could be some type of scam they are running on ebay for the best price deal they have? Purchase from themselves at a higher price and then show ebay the $50.00 auction and get their money back?
