Question -- is this wirth rebuilding or should i scrap it and get entirly new engine kit

Looks salvageable. So might just be the time involved.
The absolute most important part of an MB (Motor-Bike) is the bicycle.
You want good front and rear brakes. Remove fenders! They rattle loose and try to kill you.

when a customer has to pay for both parts and labor, I advise he just buy a new motor for $80
even if he can do his own work, some parts cost more separately than they do in a kit, so buying a whole kit to put some spares om the shelf might be better than buying just the motor

does anybody have a cluse as to what size this engine is
thanks Dan and crassius I was thinking of getting a new kit off ebay with upgraded sprocket, spring tensioner, upgraded carb and reed valve, and expansion exause camber, and some sort off vibration mount. Here are some npictures of the old bike in oragnge and the new bike in black.

Got her mounted in but couple of issues
1) engine sits higher now sow now I need either an offset or a short intake --- I am thinking of getting a cnc short intake and continues using old carb.
2) and now the bottom of my old exhaust presses hard to the frame making so that I'm not getting a full seal. --- thinking of getting a VooDoo muffler and installing it

That's a CNS style carb with the fuel enrichment instead of a choke, most of the early models had a idle screw and idle air screw. The problem I had with that style carb was the plastic bushing in the intake was not compatible with gasoline, several of the first kits I bought the carb wouldn't stay on after a while. Hopefully that has been corrected. My son in law is still running a cns2 on his, we built that bike in 2011.
