Seems like each meet I go to I drive a different car each time, but bring the same bike! Got another car for the ride this year, but I will be bringing ol faithful with less than 20 miles on it since last meet! Been sitting out in the cold for a while so hope everything will be alright for this next year!

Good to hear from you Jordan. Your bike has ran like a champ the last three rides...so I have no doubt it will be up to the task again in June. Hope your new year is off to a good one! Cya in June!

Sure will. Where you from? You be bringing any riders with those bikes?
We're from Chicago and yes sir 5 riders with those bikes. Seems like its going to be a lot of fun for sure. I have 2 trikes thinking of bringing those as well. How are the roads for spongy 3 inche tires ?

Roads are all paved and in good shape. Should be fine. Trike would be a nice ride compared to some of these 2 wheelers on these longer rides haha!

Jordan, I sure hope that your 'new' car isn't any smaller than last year's......I'm amazed your bike fit in the back seat!

It's definitely a bit bigger! A giant 2013 Ford Taurus. I am not sure that it is really classified as a car, but more of a land yacht. I could probably comfortable fit a few bikes in the trunk with how big it is. That little red car I had the previous year decided to puke coolant and had to go! I was in it pretty comfortably so I wasn't sad to see it go onto the next guy. Thing had more oil leaks than cylinders, but was a fun little thing!

Going to be a fun route with a bit of old scenery for some but quite a bit of new scenery as well for all. Right near 70 miles round trip of smooth...quiet country blacktop.

Hmmmm.......I guess it's never too early to begin the preparations for this! Haven't cranked the bike in a couple of months.

I thought it might be tough to do better then last years attendance, but I think we are on pace to shatter last years attendance. Looking like a possible 20 riders thus far and I wouldn't be surprised to see another half dozen by the time the event nears.

So..please make sure if you are planning on attending that you arrive before 10:00am. We will be departing for a long cruise at that time and I would hate to see anyone get left behind. You may want to plan to get here around 9:00am or earlier if you want so you have time to make introductions and do some chit chatting before the ride begins. I put coffee on early...so come for coffee if you want.

Our ride this year to the Wolf Covered Bridge will take us through only one town with a gas station. There is also an old time hardware store with a soda fountain and a hand dipped ice cream counter there that we will take time to visit for anyone who wishes to do so. We will spend around 20 minutes here to stretch...get fuel..snacks..drinks..etc.

This year I think we will also do a minimum of 5 timed mini stops. We will spend a minimum 10 minutes at each mini stop to give folks plenty of time to stretch..get drinks..converse..etc. We will also spend a bit of time at the bridge for video and photo opportunities. We want everyone to have a good time and a good relaxing ride...so we will not rush it and will take several scheduled breaks and even more if needed. So please plan on this being an all day ride.

When we return around 3:30pm to 4:00pm approximate....a free bbq dinner and beverages will be provided for all attendees.

Been working on a new bike for this years ride. Still have quite a ways to go and waiting on some parts now, but come spring she will be ready to cruise.
