You did publicly trash them, maybe they don't want anymore of your business.
That was before I publically trashed them. This post was made on Friday after I tried to email them to cancel my order AFTER they refused to take my call after calling 5 times on Friday at 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm and then again at 4:00pm on their other number.

So they got publically trashed AFTER they blocked my email indicating that they are nothing but a thieving company taking my money on Saturday which they are closed on when I placed my order and then not responding to an email on Wed asking what the status of my order was which was ample time to ship my order out. Then on Friday after I called 5 times I checked the status before I emailed them to cancel my order it was then after 6 days switched from Approved to Back Ordered.

So how do you explain this shady business practice? How about the shady business practice of running 3 different website businesses out of the same address and with the same phone number selling the same exact stuff? How do you explain the shady business practice of taking a persons money before shipping said item? No business takes money on an order till the item ships and believe me I have been ordering things off the internet for years.



But even if they don't want my business anymore why haven't they refunded my money yet? Its been a week since I filed for a fraudulent charge on my card and I still haven't got my money back. A good business that is a honest business if they don't want your business they will give your money back asap not try to steal your money.

I placed an order with them on May 12th. Got a confirmation e-mail that they shipped the entire list of ordered items (clutch repair parts) on May 19th, and should arrive on the 22nd. Is this super speedy service? Maybe not, but it's not worth getting stressed over.

With the above being said, I also placed an order from That's Dax after the Gasbike order. Those parts arrived 3 days ago. Super speedy service? You betcha!! I had a small issue a while back where Dax sent a wrong part. I called, explained the situation, and the correct part arrived 2 days later. He also told me to keep the wrong part. Would I recommend purchasing from Dax? You betcha!!

Hopefully your issue will get resolved soon.

Well my issue is in the process of being resolved. Due to their lack of communication on their part and me not knowing whats going on I have my bank filing a claim on the purchase and will be getting my money back.

I will give it until the end of the week and will update y'all as it goes on. I am just very anxious about this because I will not be able to get money back.
Of course give them time don't take and rush on an assumption.

I gave them a week which in my book is well over enough time to pack and ship out an item that was ordered. I also emailed them 3 days after the start of their work week just asking for a heads up on the status of my order. I ordered from Dennis-Carpenter a fuel shut off valve for my tractor on the same Saturday and I got a ship confirmation on Tuesday. By Wed I didn't have a ship confirmation from Raw-Motors so I emailed them.

After no reply by Friday I called them with no luck and by Saturday I had no call back cause they are closed Saturday-Sunday so I went to my bank and started the ball rolling on getting refunded by my credit union.

I never bought from this place before but after this happened Friday night after I made my post here two Fridays ago after my email bounced twice to them to cancle my order and refund my money. I found online quite a bit of negative things said about this company. Even on their facebook page for GasBike.net they have a 2 out of 5 star rating with all of the recent reviews being 1 star. I also came across people on other forums talking about how they have a F- rating with the BBB. The link the provided which was from 2011 was no good but I did find a B- rating for one of this guys businesses but it also said the BBB hasn't verified the information so its not an official BBB rating.

Just have a open mind on this business I just don't want other people to go doing business with a business like this that obviously doesn't give two ****s about customers. I also don't care about businesses that sell knock off products as the real deal.

Just an update......

I received my order from Gasbike today. I ordered 4 individual parts -- clutch shaft, clutch shaft spring, clutch cam, and clutch cam lever. I ordered the clutch shaft and spring as individuals because their combined cost was only like $4. There was an option to buy the assembled shaft (which had a couple extra pieces) for $20. Well, it turns out that they shipped me an assembled shaft!!



So, I can report that this company did right by me!

Alright everyone, finally after many emails and many phone calls I finally took the time to write a huge email that just shut them down. The next day my kit was shipped and I had many responses to all the emails I sent. Man this company was a huge pain in the ass, but I'm glad they finally shipped the kit. Ive also received tires and a sprocket adapter now just waiting for the kit and a aftermarket muffler from bike berry. Just do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy anything from gasbike Huge pain, if you really have to buy from them on Amazon because at least Amazon can step in and help resolve the problem. Will be posting some pictures of my build later in the week.

That's good to hear. I still haven't received a call or email from them haven't tried since I tried the night before I made this post and my email was blocked by them. I am how ever still waiting on my credit union to put the money back in my account. The account page over on RawMotors still says back ordered. Hopefully I get my money back before they ship because I don't want their frame anymore.

Well I just checked my bank account and the money has been returned. Now just need to find a place that has the frame in stock so I can order it from someone else.

I ordered a rear hub adapter and a 40 tooth sprocket from kings. Tjey sent the wrong size, i got ahold of them and was told to send back and they would send me the correct one. I waited 3 weeks and no returned sprocket. Called them again to remind them they hadnt sent the correct adapter back. They said its on the way. Well lo and behold i recieved it a week later only to realize they just sent me the same adapter that i sent back.. smh...

Doesn't surprise me. I got my money back like 3 weeks ago now and I already ordered and got my Grubee Skyhawk GT2A frame two weeks ago now from Bicycle-Engines. Only thing is since I never built a bike before this is my first I screwed up and bought a 150mm drop out because their website stated you need 150mm for multi speed and for wider tires up to 2.5" wide. Well I saw some people had problem fitting 2.125" wide tires on the 135mm frame so I went with 150mm. Now I cant find anything wheel wise assembled without spending huge bucks. So now it looks like I will be buying the 61mm HD hub from Grubee and finding a local bike shop to build the wheel for me. Just such a learning curve for this and that's coming from someone that actually works on cars and trucks for a living.

As far as my order from this company, it still says back ordered. I don't know they might ship out the frame to me and not realize I already was refunded by my bank.

Bump this. I am having the same issues right now with Gasbikes.net I should of known when I was an active member on this forum 4 years ago.

It makes me feel ashamed to think that I am still affiliated with a forum that takes advertising money from gasbike.net. I wonder how the administrator feels?

Long story short. Didn't receive part from GASBIKE.NET......... Filed complaint with BBB............ Received part........... Score:...... ME =1......... GASBIKE.NET = 0.................... LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

I also wait about a week before I start asking questions. Especially with these small time operators, they are usually a one man operation and have a full time regular job. Every phone call just slows the game down for their system.
