Where in southwest Florida? Anywhere near Englewood?

Just south of you in Fort Myers mid November to April.
Other times I am in Robbinsville,NC.
I'll have my Ural and some of the monkey bikes there so maybe we can get together.

I don't live there. I'm a Colorado transplant. We have a place on Palm Island and only get down about once a year. I still have family all over the state; Ocala, Daytona, Miami and Lauderdale. I've never taken a motorbike but we ride some old pedal beach cruisers when we're on the island.

The southwest coast is the best. I wish it was like it used to be in the 60s and 70s. Lots of people and traffic now, and Walmarts. :)

And you have a nice stable of two wheeled machines. Looks like fun. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Yep, unfortunately SWFL has grow like crazy. We moved to Sanibel Island in 1974 and lived there for 13 years and now live in town but still have a cottage on the island.
The county where we live in WNC has 7,000 residents which makes for great living.

Sanibel? In 74? LOL, then you'll remember that pretty little grass airport. I used to fly over from Miami, land there then have to wait for a three wheeled trike ( Sanibel's version of a 'follow me' truck) to escort us across the road to park under the trees.

The runway is gone unfortunately. It's a golf course now.

I think the airport was gone by the time we moved to Sanibel.
We lived on the beach and I remember the first time the DC3s from mosquito control flew over at tree top level!
I thought we were being strafed.

I was stationed at Lowry AFB in 1961 for electronic and Mace missile maintenance training. Great place back then. 3.2 beer!
