hi I'm looking at building a motorized bicycle. I'm thinking about putting a sd stinger on a diamondback accent older model like late 90s are these motors any good or reliable

Welcome G3RON! Diamondbacks are good bikes for mounting really any brand of MB engine (thin, strong frame tubes) and when it comes to 'brands' of these engines, they probably all come from the same Chinese factory anyways due to their design repetition. If you treat them right, they are perfectly reliable to get you where you need to go.
