There is no such rule that if you have a reed you can't be in the 2 Stroke
Amateur Class.
We will work out who is in which class on race day Saturday 13th by
running the heats and a little common sense.
Which class you are in will be a combination of your rider skills and your bike.
We really need 3 66 cc 2 Stroke classes but ya gotta start somewhere.
Rob and Greg of PistonBikes.com are putting up the cool prize of a Grubee
aluminum bike frame so they will be getting a say in who is in what class.
CR Machine is sponsoring 2 of their billet heads as prizes for 2nd and 3rd.
The idea of the 2 Stroke Amateur Class is to have a race for new inexperienced
riders with fairly stock, inexpensive builds where they can be competitive.
No need to dump a bunch of money into a race bike, just bring your everyday
rider and have a blast on the track.
Off the top of my head I would say your bike would be in the class.
