Take a look inside a Felt Deep 6 frame

from the amount of shavings, it looks like the aluminum is pretty thick on that frame !!!
the vid reminded me of those miniaturized voyage shows from the 60's ;)
it is early and I am still working on my 1st coffee laff

That does in fact seem to be the case. The frame metal is thick. That's probably why this beast weights 40 lbs.
