I saw this in a recent edition of make magazine and was wondering what anyone here thought of it. it looks pretty good but i think the pop rivits are would take a while and the weather proofing may not of had to be as strenous (since i dont ride when it is raining)

That thing looks pretty cool. If you have access to the equipment, solid rivets would look better. And yes, it would take a while to build, sheet metal work is time consuming.

Looks cool. How about modifying a Mail Box? One of those old school tin ones could be modified to do about the same thing with half the work I would think.

ha ferball i thought that the design looked like a mail box I guess that would save some time also you need a brake to bend the metal correctly
