Hey y'alls.....I've upgraded The Black Dog.....new springer forks.....new cross treaded tires.....new grips and shorty fenders as well as a new carb......dang.....it's an awesome bike and is working perfectly.....I retained all of Jim's stuff.. ( the mounts,intake pipe and 38 tooth sprocket and adapter )....I don't really know what else I can do with it but I'm open to suggestions and take kindly to advice !.....Hope y'all like it !

Gator, Nice ride! Suggestions(humor me), flip the handle bars upside down, get a seat that's make the 'ole Proctologist real happy and get a rear sprocket with more teeth on it...Flatlanders... shheeesh!!

LOL.....I like the boardtracker look too but I can't ride like that....I have a titanium spine.....and we flatlanders aint got no hills to climb so a smaller sprocket blazes ! HOO !

Nice looking bike ya got there Gator..
 
When I added one to my Point Beach I think it made the bike. Gave it more of a motorcycle look. I believe there is a pic of it here. Just remember to secure it well at all points! The flange you mount the muffler to is very thin. I found that out the hard way.
 
That's a fantastic looking bike Moto !.....does the poo-poo pipe make it more quiet ? and does it help performance ?

It made it a bit quieter, just a different sound really. And yes, more power I think... it did seem to pull stronger on hills, why I don't know. BUT at the same time I changed plug and the plug cap and wire too so it might have been a combination of all four. Still I think it was well worth the money.

Where did you pick up the springer Salty? I'm new to the mb scene but really want the look of a springer. Also how much trouble is it to put on?

I got the springer from Nirve..1 1/8th threaded...they come in chrome and black....and it took about 5 minutes to install.....
