Yes you have seen this before by a man named LARGE Phill......

This is a little diff but the idea came from his thread.

This works very nice and even fits with the billet intake.

If you tighten up the clutch spring youll prolly want to do this.

It would never fit with the straight billet intake though.

It is indeed very nice.
Much cleaner than my quick setup.
I made that in about an hour.

The funny thing is i saw this done along time ago and didn't think it made that much of a difference.

It dose.

The pully setup is great no matter how you do it.
Lets you utilize the clutch the way you should to slip it a little and take off.

I will fab up the brackets and let you know when there ready.

I'm curious about this pulley set up. Is the purpose to improve the routing of the cable, to make the clutch operate a little easier, or both? Please advise.

Pretty much both.
With it you can tighten up the clutch spring inside the motor.
It routes the cable a bit better and keeps your cable from fraying.

The stock position of the barrel for the clutch cable seems to be off enough to chew up the cable and make it hard to pull and eventually break.

It's a nice smoothe pull with the pully.

That's great you guys! You can buy all kinds of pulleys {like we use on our MBs} at Home Depot starting at $2.00- $8.00, but you still have to modify a bracket to go on clutch cover. So, If $10.00 smackers includes pulley, bracket, bolts, and shipping- it's worth it.

They should be pretty affordable.
Justin may have Jim's Billet Clutch Cover and Shaft as well if there is a demand for it.
