That tank might not look too bad if it was sitting length wise with the rear wheel mounted on a rack. All polished up too.

I concur....however the same folks sell one like you stated....a rear rack style tank which includes the rack.....I've enclosed a snap of it ....GMTA huh ?

No.....those tanks I've snapped in my thread are painted steel I think......but brass would be SO cool !
