Dude, have you ever seen what happens to spandex when it touches a hot ex. pipe or motor. If just for safety (or fasion statement) wear leather.

I wear a cape while I ski, my MB clothing will be my cape, sandals (maybe with socks, I'm a true Nor' wester) Jeans or Shorts, a humorous T-shirt and a wind breaker.

Here in Victoria there has been a recent motorcycling safety TV ad campaign.

A trauma surgeon ... sums things up after a few motocycle crash/skid/injury shots grab the attention

...take that guy says the surgeon, pointing to nasty leg gravel-burn and the rest...

"he's got months of skin-graft surgery ahead... in and out of hospital ...if he'd worn leathers not denim he'd be out of here tomorrow ... and pretty well good as new inside weeks...


full leather drag for playing motogp on xbox 360 might be an overcook...

i wouldnt be caught dead wearing spandex.
i usually wear jeans,tee shirt and boots.
and in winter,a leather jacket wont cut it,i have a isulated winter coat,gets cold up here.

man, i throw on a hoodie and a denim jacket along with my carhart flannel lined jeans. toasty warm

My nephews gave me a Superman-caped hoodie for Christmas today

Its great cause I just bought a red moto helmet that matches

Now.......what color to paint my bike. Kryptonite green? might start a thread for suggestions
