We all know that Worksman wheels are the hot ticket if you want bulletproof construction, but from what I have heard the weight is substantial and it forces you to run a flashy chrome finish. I ran into this picture taken from inside the Worksman factory posted by someone on the Ratrod bike forum who actually had a plant tour. I noticed that the rim appeared to be aluminum, so I emailed the picture to Worksman and asked if they were. I received the following response:
you are looking at Worksman Aluminum wheels with stainless spokes. The aluminum rims have a flat finish............beautiful!

Looks like the steel ones in the backround and the aluminum ones in the foreground. I have not yet ordered a set but probably will.
