Is there a way to fix the interference the speedo will go from 21 to 98 to 3 km/h randomly.

I had the same problem with the same one as you. It just does that. The cateye is good, there was another that was good as well, one with two or three buttons and a small screen. The best is an old iPhone with the speedometer app. You can buy little iPhone 5’s and similar ones for as little as $25 on eBay

You can try using a resistor plug and cap, but that will take some of the zap out of your already marginal system.
