will the v brake adapter plate work on the rear of delmar cruiser

asking to find out will the rear v brake adapter plate work on the rear part of schwinn delmar cruiser.
My roadmaster split in half when riding and the frame tore completely in two. So new bicycle frame.

Also dont cut the bottom parts of frames. it weakens frames and then can SPLIT THE BICYCLE FRAME AND CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY.

I cut the v-brake brace off an old front fork and welded it on the rear of my current m-b. Works great!
