Whitey Wired Torque Strap

Tad Bit Tipsy

Here's some picts of the torque strap thingy I made. The frame is thin on this murray, so the mount doesn't have enough purchase to keep from sliding down or pulling the motor to the left, so I improvised. This is my beater Murray, that I'm using to break in the Titan, before I move it over to my stretch frame custom bike where it will have a welded in mount. These are tension blocks used to strap the liner of an above ground pool, or a wire fence. I used two, put an allen bolt trough one end to attach it to the frame up top, then just hooked the other one with the eye bolt and hooked underneath the mount. Tightened it up, and so far no more problems. Also put a small rubber gasket underneath the mount around the seat post for added strength. Was a simple fix!!!
