What year is this roadmaster ?

Do any of you guys know how to tell what year this AMF Roadmaster is ? A guy locally has it for sale and He believes it to be a 1957 and Idunt think it is .

in the early 70's, a federal law passed requiring reflectors on pedals. before that, you'd rarely see them, and if you did, they were fancy lookin'.

judging by all the stock looking reflectors all over that bike, i'd say mid 70's. if the headbadge is a sticker instead of a brass or tin plate, that's a giveaway too.

Looks almost identical to the bike I have, or at least the way it was when I started the build. Mine has a serial number and AMF on the frame. Best I can tell mine is a mid 70's bike. I still have that seat and the grips.

The good news is that if it's cheap a China motor will fit right on there with no trouble.
