Hey everybody, what size tubing do yall use on your builds? I've used 1 1/2 and 2 inch tubing in the past, but I'm thinking about using 1 inch tubing for my new build. I just want the bike to look super small(I'm 6'4.)
Tubing size does everyone use?

It isn't so much the O.D, or outside diameter but the wall thickness that you should be concerned with. You could use 2 inch tubing but if it is thin wall it might not have the strength needed. What are you using?

im going .083, .095, or .120 wall DOM tubing, really its the OD im looking at because it will make the bike look small with on it if I don't get the size right
I'm confused: WHY do you want your bike to look small, and what does tire-width have any bearing on it?
That's the thing, I don't want it to look small. It a fusion style bike and I don't want the frame tubes to look to small when im on the bike
Good, I thought I was going crazy or dyslexic; I'm your size and make all bikes look small. I ride a 29" mountain-bike and use as wide and as knobby tire as the chain-clearance will allow. Presently using a 2.125" tube.
