I was reading an article about " What makes a 2-stroke hard to start', and then I came across something that caught my eye, 'Can you jump start a bike?'. Immediately intrigued, I started reading, and the article stated: "This is really no different than jump starting a car. You can jump a motorcycle with another motorcycle or a car. When using jumper cables, just remember the phrase “red to dead.” Start by hooking up the red cable to the positive terminal on your dead bike.

Now is this really true? I would think an electric starter is required (and I'm sure most m/b don't have those), but I've been wrong before. Maybe if you hooked the two black wires to the negative pole of a lawnmower battery, and the to blue wires to the positive pole of a lawnmower battery, and Zinga?!?!
I don't know, please inform me, and if nobody knows, then maybe experiment with a cheap 2-stroke
