The_Aleman Active Member Feb 25, 2011 #2 Sure, I've done it before. Depends on the MTB rim, but most of them work fine with 26x1.5 - 26x2.3 tires if they have Schrader valve holes. Almost all externally-shifted cruisers use MTB wheels to begin with.
