still no spark

Good morning all. Just signed up and enjoy everything I'm reading about, finally bought one and have built one thanks to everyone for the advice. My Problem with the first engine is I have no spark. Bought new CDI and Magneto and plug. Still nothing, Magneto tested at 2K .342 the CDI at
2K .652 , spark plug checks out fine. Oh yes I did sand the varnish off the magneto and off the side where the ground wire screws onto magneto. Not sure where to go next to test? Any suggestions? Greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum. I hope we can help you.
Judging from the fact that you mention what sounds like 2 stroke ignition parts we're assuming you have a Chinese 2 stroke. It's always best to tell us what engine you have when asking for help.

My first question would be how are you checking for ignition (spark)?

Have you tried it with the kill button disconnected?

Have you confirmed good electrical connections between the blue and black wires? Those kit supplied push-together connectors can cause problems.
