I am new to motorized bikes. I just got a Staton Gear box and mounted to a subaru EH35 engine on my X-3 ax trike. First let me say I am impressed by both the high quality and excellent customer service from Staton. I have put 30 miles on the trike. It is geared low for our gravel roads and hills. Everything is good except a lot of gear box noise at low to mid speeds. It is a higher pitched yowl. I have pulled everything apart and cleaned off the grease to inspect for any unusual signs of wear or rubbing. none. Is gear box noise common with these things??
