Sprocket Adapter Assistance (Shimano Hub)

Hey Dudes.

Trying to figure out a sprocket adapter and sprocket for my bike. The rear hub is a Shimano FH-RM40. Measures about 1.118". It's a cartridge hub.

I'd like to get your recommendations on sprocket adapters for this one. It seems this one might be an odd size.

I'll tell ya what not to do! I had similar problem, hub was an oddball, between 1.1 and 1.2. I bought a 1" adapter, took it to the machine shop, bolted together, explained I needed it bored out by "x" amount (can't remember). They wanted the wheel/hub, 25 miles by bus each way... Forget it! Just open it up by .15 or whatever it was.
Yep, they destroyed it. Came back maybe .1 larger...
So advice? Whatever you do, DIY! And in hindsight, I shoulda just got a different rim/hub.
And I nearly forgot, they charged me $50 bucks for shoptime.
