Springer fork for Huffy Cranbrook

Has anyone modded a Huffy Cranbrook with Springer forks? Are all the 26" Springers a pretty much universal fit or are there particulars I should look for?

They are universal but...so are the head tubes...you may need to get some spacers to take up any room on the fork tube because they can't (shouldn't) be trimmed. The angle that the spring support bracket (ring) connects to the fork tube needs to correct. This is what I use
