Both motors have been fitted with internal sound dampeners- the 66 has the Sound Pro dampeners and the 50 cc has dampeners of my own construction (using 1/8" strofoam poster board backing from Dollar store and store bought pie plate aluminum) Mine are actually thicker.
The 66 has a long pipe and muffler, while the 50 has a stock kit exhaust
The 50 wins the "Quiet Contest" hands down.
