Schwinn Rat Rod Project

I just picked this old Schwinn Speedster. I am going to sand blast and repaint it. The wheels and bars in the pics are just there to make it a roller. The seat is also something I already had.

Plans are for new paint, Monark springer, Ape Hangers and a 66cc motor.

Since I have been riding the 1903, everyone is telling me about old bikes. Most are not worth bringing home or don't fit my needs. But once in a while you get lucky.



Here is the Schwinn with a leftover springer (it needs a longer stem) and the bars flipped.

I sat a tank on it to get a feel of how it is going to look.

To bad that tank can't go under the top tube, in that space??? maybe changing the filler cap location???
