Schwinn Breeze, ladies model..

I got a ladies Schwinn Breeze, it 's probably about 40 or 50 years old and all the bolts (though they looked "frozen" ) all came loose with no problem, nice components it has a Sturmey Archer 3 spd shifter with a little oil filler cap on the rear hub.... just a good old bike, incredibly even the tubes are still good but the tires are dry rotted.. I'm gonna make it rideable. My question is; is this a good candidate for an engine?... it'll fit... but is this a strong enough frame in the "ladies configuration" to handle the stress of motorization? has anyone done one of these or know of one that was motorized?...... thanks
 
hi, did you ever find out about if the Schwinn Breeze is a fine bike to motorize? I have one just like you describe in the message.
