Rolling over my muffler

On the way home from riding today i noticed a different exhaust sound. I looked down to see my muffler shaking and before i could stop it sheered off where the muffler meets the exhaust pipe. I then rode over the muffler. I was instantly now riding what sounded like a machine gun strapped between my legs.
.duh.
 
hahaha ive done it too...its all because the muffle was held together by a nylock nut and the nylon melted...get a quish nut and it wont ever back off again(squish nut are lock nuts that have an eliptical hole not round....dont quote me on the name) i was able to jam the muffler sleeve back on but only when it was upside down(one end wasnt round anymore) but any way how cool did the bike sound...vvvvvrrrrraaaaapppprraprap
 
it wasnt the nut. haha. It was the entire muffler. and so now on my bike i just have the 4 inch length of thin exhaust pipe.
