BTW, it appears like there is a padlock where the lug nuts would hold the spare tire, keeping the thieves from even thinking about it!!!

No lock yet, but there will be. The bolt holding down each tire will be changed to a drop pin. Sort of like the pin that holds the hitch in the receiver. The middle part will have a lock on it.
The rack is rated at 500 pounds and cost me $72.00. The 2 braces that go up to the tire mount cost a total of $9.00 cut to size. The track was a free piece that was laying around.
I will be adding lights to the rack sometime also.
