the new grubee skyhawk gt5 spark plug wires are i'm guessing glued in? can someone tell me how to replace this? thinking bout going to auto store and buying one then swapping out but cant even get old one out. thanks

Very few are actually glued in they just appear that way due to the tight fit. All you have to do is unscrew the wire from the CDI. Even if it is glued in you can still unscrew it but you may have to carefully remove any left over glue or bits of plug wire if it breaks with a knife.

Yup i got mine to come out. Use a pair of pliers and don't let go or wire just tends to spin back due to the rubber coating.

I went down to Shucks Auto and got a shielded one for about seven bucks. I did have to cut one end off and then screwed it into the CDI and its been working good ever since. The one that came with the kit was worthless.(Cheep, brittle and helped kill my speedometer).

Ive bought 3 kits in the past month. All 3 had the plug wire glued in to the cdi. Had to dig it out with pliers. The cheap cap on the end of the stock wire falls to peices after taking it on and off the plug a few times.
