Hi all,
I have taken off the rear mudguard arm brackets to give a sleeker look and when riding as a normal bike it does just slide over over the tyre with a little noise,so i thought when i put a engine in i'm not going to hear it anyway.

Will it be safe to have it like this when i put an engine on?

Not a good idea whatsoever. Even if your fender doesn't come off when you least expect it to, you're going to wear out that tire quicker from the fender rubbing it.

Function trumps fashion every time, IMHO.

You are going to need some heavy duty fender mounts on there with bolts, no rivets. Also the bracket that holds the fender to the frame will need to be beefed up. The stock ones sheer off, I know from experience.

Shivverz hey,
Didn't know that would happen, has anyone got any pics of this upgrade?
Or i might just go naked and not have a fender.
