Rattling torque converter gear, Please help !

Hi,
Im hoping this is the last of the bugs ... There is so much free-play in the torque converter gear I don't want to run it until I find out if this is normal.
The clutch works fine, it just sounds like it's going to tear itself apart . Can it be tightened up and is there a decent exploded view kicking around some where ?
Any thoughts will be gratefully received .... Thanks, Mark

Ok, no need for the picture , I found it in an old thread . Does anyone know what is reasonable free play ?

You need to be specific about what engine/drive system you have when asking a question. It helps us diagnose your problem.
With the wide variety of power plants available it helps to know what you have.
