question for hub riders...

after about ten to twenty miles, my hub seems to run better. Is this normal if so anybody have any idea why.

Yes, electric motors have a break in period too.

I fly model airplanes, some of which are electric powered...we always break in the motors first. I wouldn't suggest our methods though, we put them in a glass of water and run them for about 10 seconds to break them in.

I dont have a glass that large lol... But thanks I was a little concerned that something might be different after I turned it over a few times in the shop.

queston 2...

There seems to be a good buy on a rear wheel hub motor on ebay right now. Some complan is selling off their rear hub motors. I could put it on the rear okay, but I really don't want to. I want to put the rear wheel hub motor on the front fork.

The question is: Is there any legitimate reason that it won't work up there.

rear axle might not fit your forks...(spacing might be different)
other than that, I see no probs

Good I think it is wide enough since i have a cruiser type kids bike frame lots of room for a 2.125 tire on it. Since I have to weld a holder onto the front fork for the length, I can weld them inside the fork or outside to give it axle length also I can make the cutout any size I want. I will have to wait and see how it looks, if I win it...

I am glad someone else sees it as I do.
