What is so special about these things? Seems to me they are just like heavy sheet metal, am I missing something? I was going to use some 1/4 inch plate that I have for my mounts. I know it's going to be harder to bend, but with a little heat you can do wonders. Just curious whats so great about these things? I don't want to beat up on someones idea without knowing the facts. Let me know I might use something like them if someone can explain why. THANKS SEE YA.
