Pulsating fuel pump?

Anybody ever used a pulsating fuel pump thats used on scooters to their motorized bicycle? Seems like a pretty simple idea. Even though there is no point with these applications, jus wondering if anyone has done it
 
Several members have used/experimented with pumps. On a typical gravity flow system there really is no advantage however in the case of remote fuel tanks, especially when the tank outlet is located lower than the carburetor inlet, a pump of some type becomes necessary.

Hey thanks for that link Tom. Never occurred to me to bolt extensions onto the rear end. Interesting info, and what a cool build!
