Hey everyone, I've been going to local K1Speed indoor tracks and filming the races. It has turned into a birthday tradition in my family. Birthday boy or girl gets their races paid for.

Anyone ever been to these or something like it?

Looks like fun! Must be electric karts?

I wish we'd have had video cameras back when Malibu Grand Prix was around. Those were some awsome machines. Whatever happened to those cars? I never saw any for sale after Mailibu went out of business.

2door- Malibu... yeah... licences, racing suits...
Almost nobody I meet knows about Malibu, but it was always packed.

ProMcCown- That looks like a good time. We've got a small indoor track near me with gas carts, but the prices were outrageous.

2door - Yep they are electric, lots of torque on them too.

Trey - It's a lot of fun battling it out with family (you know for bragging rights haha), the pricing this place seems to be pretty good in my opinion, it's $50 for 3 races which consist of 14 laps per race. I think that worth the price.
