Priority Coast Gas Powered Bike

Im thinking of picking up a Priority COast bicycle. Has anyone seen one of these with a gas powered engine on them? they are belt driven. im more curious as to how that will hold up instead of a chain with a gas motor on it.

A M/B kit won't affect the belt at all
The M/B kit chain and sprockets are on LH side.
You will still use the belt to pedal the bike but not to power the bike with the M/B kit

Three things I don't like about the bike. It has fenders, a rear coaster brake and a very high price tag. You could buy a really good mountian bike with disc brakes for about half the price.
