Here is a trick i do on all my engines.
I use disposable cookie sheets 2 for $1.19.
Very thin aluminum easy to cut and form and i havent blown one yet.
For the price you can make alot of gaskets.
Pull the jug gasket and the head gasket and replace with these and you'll see a good performance gain.
Also use the side of a plastic pen to press the gasket arond the edges to form to the shape of the motor.
Then you know the gasket won't move during assembly.
