So this past weekend, I was out riding around my neighborhood and noticed my M65 clone pipe was vibrating pretty bad whenever I would give it some throttle. When I got home I noticed that one of the studs that screws into the exhaust port is loose like the threads in the hole are stripping out. Now I know I have the option to drill and tap a size up, but I was wondering if I were to use some JB Weld to secure the stud in the weakened hole would be a better fix than the red Loctite that was already in there. Would JB Weld hold up better to the heat of the exhaust port better than having to use the drill and tap method? Is there a specific JB weld that would be best for high heat applications like this? Trying to avoid having to buy a new cylinder since the motor is barely out of break in and most likely already has damaged threads in the hole. Any advise is appreciated.
