I'll try to help you.
Does it look like this?
You may be able to look it up on Sheldon Brown's Bicyclopaedia. www.sheldonbrown.com
With today's wide-range freewheels and cassettes (34 tooth low gears!) even a cheap Shimano 6 speed freewheel would probably give you a very wide range with a single crank. Having a single shifter will help too because you need space for motor controls (throttle, clutch, switch).
