Hello all, new to this forum and just wondering if there is anyone in the Northern Illinois area that rides? My project bike is nearing a finish and I'll be looking to do some fall rides in the near future. Thanks- Joe

I'm in the Peoria area. There are others nearby. Of course, that's not very far north. But I'll betcha there's some in your neighborhood.
I know your town and have always liked it. Had a good customer there once upon a time (another one over in Sycamore, for that matter, too.) They were a farm implement dealer right on the west edge of town. Last I saw the NIU campus, new basketball arena in particular, was threatening to swallow them up. That was certainly five years ago now. Maybe six or seven. I wonder if they survived having their approaches urbanized?
