Hello all; the name is Tracy and I live in the Huntsville area. Awhile back I built a motorized bicycle based on a Murray Westport cruiser and a typical China girl engine kit. I used the kit sprocket and rag joint, opened the center hole of the sprocket for brake arm clearance with my mini mill and rotary table, replaced the rear wheel with a new heavy duty one with 12g spokes, and retrofitted a suspension fork and front V-brake. I replaced the stock exhaust with an Arrow torque pipe. I also added battery powered LED head- and taillight. I have less than $350 in the whole thing, all-inclusive. It's working pretty well right now, but I have plans to build a cdi and put a Puch 70cc hi hi head on it.
