I just built my first motorized bicycle with a 2 stroke 49cc engine. After assembling, when I try to start it, the engine provides resistance as it sputters and turns over. If I assist by pedaling, the engine will run, but if I try to use the throttle I get no power out of it, and it slows down quickly and dies. Is this an issue of the clutch being too tight?
